The Cellink NEO External Battery Pack is a dedicated power solution designed to provide extended power to dash cams, such as a Kapture dash cam, particularly for parking mode recording. While a hardwiring kit is typically sufficient for most dash cam users, the Cellink NEO can be a useful addition in specific scenarios.
For a cleaner and more reliable setup, the Cellink NEO can be hardwired to your vehicle’s fuse box using the included hardwire input cable.
While driving, the Cellink NEO charges via the vehicle’s alternator (through the fuse box). It fully charges in approximately 40–50 minutes when hardwired. The Cellink NEO can be placed under a seat, in the glovebox, or in the trunk.
While a hardwiring kit is sufficient for most Kapture dash cam users, there are specific scenarios where the Cellink NEO could be beneficial.
